Teddy also learned that during the races, four teams compete in the water at the same time, with four others waiting to switch out, keeping the competition continuous and exciting.
Additionally, the steerer explained the classification system of the teams. There are three tiers: Tier A is the highest, and teams in this tier are usually the strongest contenders. Tier B is the next level, while occasionally there is a Tier C. Semi-pro team Charlotte Fury is a very skilled team—they practice twice a week, while some teams only practice once a year. Sometimes, Charlotte Fury opts to compete within the B tier, aiming to be the strongest contender there; other times, they choose to participate in the A tier, but not necessarily as the top team or winner. There were other great teams like the lenovo team, firefighters, and police, who were physically strong and used to working together a lot.
The dragon boat races were the highlight of the event. A total of eight teams participated, showcasing teamwork, strength, and determination. The fierce competition drew enthusiastic cheers from the spectators, making it an exciting and lively atmosphere.
